We love learning new skills, and on our website you’ll find our Journal of projects, workshops, and projects we’re learning or trying out. These are sometimes finished pieces, but also updates od works in progress.

Lately we’ve been updating Instagram account, Shawland Artisans, more often than our website journal, and it’s a good place to follow our work and various projects. But here you’ll find some projects that we’ve worked on, or are in progress, and some skills we’re learning.

Welcome to Shawland, a collaborative site where we sell hand-crafted artisan goods and artworks, and share pictures of our projects – in progress, finished, or from the archives. We’re a family of artists and crafters based in Ontario, Canada.  Our mediums are many – from fibre arts such as knitting, embroidery, quilting, spinning and weaving, to drawing, painting, photography, silversmithing, and writing.
